James Johnson - 2007 Golden Opportunity Scholar

James Johnson is a student in the Plant Science Department at California State University, Fresno. He is majoring in plant science with an emphasis in plant health. James hopes to one day work in agricultural research in either the private, academic, or governmental sector. His Studies focus primarily on crop management and Integrated Pest Management. James is a member of Alpha Zeta, Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key international Honor society, and is very active in the schools agricultural ambassadors as well as setting up and running the cotton and agronomy FFA competitions. James plans on attending graduate school for plant breeding.
