Amanda Luna majored with honors in Environmental Sciences in the Ecosystems Research Center at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She emphasizes on the conservation and management of Crop Genetic Resources.

She is currently doing internship with Nunhems in the Netherlands.

Research Interests

She is interested on how the value of genetic resources can be used as a means to enhance the development of rural households and thus promote the in situ conservation of biodiversity.

Future Plans

She seeks to continue her professional development in grad school.
